Summer Camp Week 7: Astonomy

What a wonderful week exploring outer space!  The children had many lessons and made so many crafts to try to bring the concepts and ideas of space into their little hands.  We learned about the sun, the stars, the moon, the planets, constellations, rockets, flight, paths of orbit, and how interconnected all of these things are for our lovely planet: Earth.  The trip to Udvar-Hazy gave the children so much to think about in terms of science, imagination, and wonderment about our world.
