Raphael grew up in Bordeaux, France. His family immigrated in 2008, and he became a citizen
in 2018. He lived in Arizona for six years, earning a teaching degree with Grand Canyon
University. He loves to sit outside and watch the wildlife with his fiancée. If he is not reading,
he loves playing with his two cats, Leela and Merlin.
