Michelle was born and raised in Falls Church, Virginia. She attended St. John’s University in New York studying accounting before returning to Northern Virginia, where she worked at Cedar Lane Montessori School as a Primary Assistant for 9.5 years.

When Michelle, her husband Edward, and their son Brock moved to Front Royal in 2022, she began working at Mountain Laurel Montessori School as a Toddler Assistant and has since become the Lead Toddler Teacher. Over the past 13 years, Michelle has been deeply involved in Montessori classrooms at both the toddler and primary levels. She returned to school and recently completed her associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is currently pursuing her AMI Primary diploma through the Washington Montessori Institute, which she will complete in the summer of 2026, and plans to finish her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Montessori education afterward.

In her free time, Michelle enjoys playing catch, hiking, and riding bikes with Edward and Brock.
