Josette Charlton is an experienced and dedicated educator committed to creating an engaging, supportive, and growth-centered learning environment. She guides students as they explore literature, develop strong writing habits, and learn to express their ideas with clarity and purpose. Her teaching is rooted in Montessori principles that blend structure with creativity and empower students to take an active role in their learning.
Her background as a performer and communicator brings energy, connection, and expressive learning experiences into the classroom. She also emphasizes personal development and accountability, encouraging students to set goals, reflect meaningfully, and take ownership of their academic and personal growth.
A resident of Front Royal since 2006, Josette and her husband share four children, all of whom are current or former MLMS students. Outside the classroom, she enjoys gardening, singing with her band, and exploring themes related to personal growth and well-being.
