Danika has lived in many different places, but has called the Shenandoah Valley home for five years. Her family includes her partner, her child, two dogs, two cats, and a bounty of chickens.

She earned her B.A. in Humanitarian Studies from Andrews University in Michigan.

In addition to spending time with children, Danika loves fiber arts, writing, gardening, and reading. She is currently in training to teach elementary.
