Chelsea grew up in Warren County and was a Montessori child herself through Elementary School. She attended James Madison University majoring in the Fine Arts and then moved to Manhattan for several years where she worked as a graphic designer.

While living in San Diego, she went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, from Loyola University, as well as her Primary AMI Diploma, from the Montessori Institute of San Diego. She also audited the AMI Toddler training course at Montessori Institute of San Diego.

Chelsea spent 10 years working within San Diego's Montessori community as a Primary Lead Teacher, Administrator and consultant. She also lived in Spain while teaching at an international AMI school and it continues to be her favorite country.

Chelsea loves traveling abroad, dancing, and anything to do with food & herbs. At home, she spends her time working in the vegetable garden, playing with the chickens, and hiking with her husband, Justin, and son, Theo.
