Luisa Jones was born in Italy and came to the U.S. in 1986. After graduating from the University of Maryland, she took the Primary Montessori Training at the Washington Montessori Institute in D.C., earning the Primary AMI Diploma in the summer of 1995. She started teaching in the fall of that year in an AMI Certified School in Silver Spring, MD, where she dedicated the following thirty years nurturing and supporting each child's potential in her care.

She recently moved to Front Royal, VA, and as a seasoned teacher, she was still looking for ways to continue fostering independence and joyful learning in young children.

She truly enjoys being outdoors and close to nature. Hiking is how she recharges herself.

She and her husband, along with their two grown children, travel to Italy to spend time with their family as often as they can.
