Toddler Assistant
Rachel Messmer’s love of children was instilled from childhood by growing up in a large family.
Caring for her nieces and nephews over the years nurtured a love for every stage of development, from baby’s first smile, to philosophical discussions with her teenage nephews.
Children being “little scientists” had always rung true for Rachel, as she went on to start her educational career as a ballroom instructor, she got to see first-hand how different children learn and develop as she taught them dance and etiquette.
Often in class, the genius of babies and toddlers was noted to older students, as they simply “knew” how to experiment with movement in their bodies, a skill we often lose as we get older.
Watching the toddler class develop has been a joy that Rachel looks forward to see carry on as they move on to primary and older grades.
Rachel is certified in CPR, first aid, and Medicine Administration Training.
