Tara has had a passion for Montessori throughout her entire life. From 2 through 12 years old, she attended her mother’s Montessori school in Germantown, Maryland. Throughout high school, she participated in Montessori Model United Nations as a student delegate and later, as a member of the Bureau. Determined to empirically research the Montessori method, Tara received her B.A. in Psychology and Linguistics with a minor in Brain and Cognitive Sciences in 2016. During her time in undergrad, Tara also became certified to be an AMI Primary Assistant. Immediately after graduation, she entered the AMI Elementary training at the Washington Montessori Institute of Loyola University Maryland. In 2017, she received her Masters in Montessori Elementary Education. Outside of school, Tara enjoys spending time with her family as well as crocheting, knitting, painting, and anything crafty.
